Training

Law enforcement training, tactics and protective-detail instruction — including a practical hostile-environment close and executive protection course — plus advisory support to government agencies and institutional security functions.

We train serving personnel against the conditions they actually work in: urban patrol and checkpoint work, convoy and route drills, crowd and public-order tasks, and the decision-making that sits behind use-of-force policy.

Protective-detail training is delivered as a full syllabus — advance work, embus and debus drills, route selection, medical response and incident management — assessed on the ground, not in a classroom alone.

Alongside instruction we provide law enforcement services: doctrine and standard-operating-procedure development, capability assessment, exercise design and post-incident review for the sponsoring authority.

ICDATT NG runs a practical seven-day close and executive protection (PSD) course built for hostile environments, covering diplomatic security and worldwide protective services: foot and vehicle formations, advance work and route reconnaissance, close-quarters combat and defensive shooting, convoy anti-ambush and team evacuation counter actions, and counter terrorism and hostage rescue.

ICDATT NG also runs internationally recognised certification (IRC) training qualifications for close protection and executive protection, surveillance and surveillance detection, and counter terrorism and lone-operator work. These are continual-education qualifications for security specialists and security risk managers who cannot leave post for a residential course.

Each certification training is delivered as structured modules with training manuals and a graded examination. Enrolment requires a completed application form, identification and payment; on a pass, ICDATT NG processes the official certification and issues it in both electronic and hard copy.

The training tuition is credited in full against the practical course of the same classification — a candidate who later attends the hands-on ICDATT NG course of that classification does not pay the tuition twice.

Every course is scoped in writing against the sponsoring authority's standards, delivered to a schedule, and closed out with an assessment record for each participant.

Training: Surveillance, Intelligence & Counter Surveillance

Advanced surveillance, intelligence gathering and counter surveillance operations, designed for operating in hostile environments with an emphasis on detecting hostile or third-party activity.

The course starts at the basics and moves through intermediate and advanced surveillance, intelligence gathering and covert technique. Candidates are taught the methods of operation used by terrorist and criminal groups, and how to detect and defeat them.

Core skills are then applied through supervised surveillance and intelligence exercises, judged on successful detection of hostile activity rather than theory alone.

TR-E03

Training: Counter Terrorism & Lone Operator

Internationally recognised certification in counter terrorism, urban warfare, close target reconnaissance, intelligence and executive hostage rescue, for continual education of security specialists and security risk managers.

The course draws on real-world experience and realistic technique, covering individual as well as small- and large-team tactics. It is designed for domestic and international environments where terrorism and kidnapping are a live concern and any person or site may present a target of opportunity.

It is a route to an internationally recognised qualification for the high-level executive protection and specialist security industry. ICDATT NG issues manuals and a graded examination, then processes the official certification in electronic and hard copy.

Close & Executive Protection: Hostile Environments

A comprehensive seven-day practical close protection and executive protection (PSD) course for hostile environments, covering diplomatic security and worldwide protective services to current operational standards.

The course is delivered hands-on and is deliberately demanding. It covers close protection and personal security detail (PSD) work, executive protection, counter terrorism, hostage rescue, and surveillance and intelligence — taught as one operating discipline rather than separate subjects, because that is how a detail works in a hostile environment.

Instruction runs from roles and responsibilities through foot formations, vehicle movement, advance work and route reconnaissance, into close-quarters combat, defensive shooting and full team counter-action and evacuation drills under realistic high-risk scenarios.

A conflict management and resolution module is delivered with the course and awarded alongside the PSD qualification, covering types, causes and stages of conflict, and the prevention and resolution of it in live protective work.

Delivered practically over seven days. Certification is issued by ICDATT NG on assessed completion, and the conflict management and resolution certification is awarded with the PSD qualification. The course is delivered under Nigerian law and to the sponsoring authority's weapons and use-of-force standards; live-fire and weapons-handling elements run only with the written approval of the competent Nigerian authority.
