The course is built around four main training strands: executive and close protection, worldwide protection services, security and VIP driving, and security risk management. Close protection and security risk management are broken down into individual training modules across the full syllabus below.
It is a route to an internationally recognised qualification for the high-level protection and security industry, delivered to candidates already on task. ICDATT NG issues the manuals and graded examination, then processes the official certification in electronic and hard copy.

Tuition for the internationally recognised Security Specialist and Security Risk Management certification is USD 500, payable with a completed application form and identification. Tuition is credited against the equivalent practical ICDATT NG course.
